Originally from Italy🇮🇹, Francesca moved to London to earn a First Class Honours degree in journalism at the University of East London 👩‍🎓. It was there that she discovered her true passion: capturing stories through the lens of film and media 📸.

Francesca's insatiable curiosity and creativity led her on a global journey, living in England, Italy, Spain, and the U.S. all before turning eighteen 🌍. This gave her not only fluency in multiple languages but also a unique and expansive worldview that informs her work today.

She now works as a freelance digital producer at News UK while working towards the NCTJ Multimedia Journalism Diploma at the country’s top journalism school, News Associates.

Prior to this, Francesca gained extensive experience as a freelance video producer for various national news outlets, including Sky News, The Independent, and GB News. Her passion for video production extends beyond her professional endeavours—it's a personal interest and hobby that she is constantly developing.

With a dedication to storytelling, Francesca is currently immersed in crafting a heartfelt documentary that delves into the extraordinary journey of her mother's life. This personal endeavour highlights her commitment to impactful storytelling and dedication to creating content that resonates deeply with audiences.

Moreover, Francesca's keen interest in AI extends beyond curiosity; it reflects her firm determination to explore its potential for revolutionizing audience engagement. She is steadfast in her pursuit of innovative approaches that seamlessly integrate AI into her work, striving to craft compelling narratives that deeply resonate with viewers.

 

Her visionary perspective has earned her the opportunity to work on a research project about the future of journalism at UEL, creating experimental forms of news publications, including a news poem, using an emotional approach to open up the subject to debate.

Francesca also worked as a financial reporter at Activist Insight where she was rewarded for "great live reporting" at a conference in Central London 🏆

Francesca's heart for volunteering led her to the U.S. in 2015, where she participated in a cultural exchange program. During her stay, she took on an incredibly rewarding role in a Kindergarten classroom, where she provided assistance to children with autism and other learning difficulties. This experience not only honed her character but also left a lasting impact on those she served.

With Italian as her mother tongue, she has also mastered the English and Spanish languages, making her a multilingual asset to any team.
